Emergency Pizza

For those of us who are night owls, it can be hard to find a decent delivery place open past midnight during the week. Good thing for Seneca Steet being home to Emergency Pizza.
Once again, this is another place easy to pass by and not realize it's existence, but it's worth the trip if you are in the area.
Emergency Pizza, making deliveries up until 2 am on weekdays and  4 a.m. on weekends, also pride themselves on delivering  to ALMOST anywhere in Buffalo. This Buffalo Pizzeria menu is pretty typical but with a few differences. They Offer a long list of Hot sandwiches and subs as well as selected dinners which can be nice if you aren't in a mood for the standard pizza and wings.
When making my order the employee at the other end of the line was very friendly. Their delivery service was prompt ( 45 minutes ) and the delivery driver was friendly as well.

Located on
1870 Seneca Street

Mardi Gras Buffalo-Style - Fat Tuesday - February 21, 2012 - Give For Greatness

It's that time of year my buffalo peeps! The 17th annual Mardi Gras - Buffalo Style falls on the 21st of this year. All of the proceeds are donated to Give for Greatness! This city wide party is host to party goers who take to the streets on their bicycles which lead over 30 floats down Elmwood Avenue. People are encouraged to dress as fun and creative as possible!
Bars along elmwood and allentown will be open for the festivities and look forward to seeing all of you lovely people in attendence!

So why do we celebrate Mardi Gras?
Mardi Gras refers to events of the Carnival celebrations, beginning on on the day before Ash Wednesday. Mardi gras is French for Fat Tuesday, referring to the practice of the last night of eating richer, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lent season, which begins on Ash Wednesday.
Don't miss this great Buffalo tradition and make your way to Elmwood to participate in the festivities!

Metro Pizza LLC.

Pizza is a touchy subject in Buffalo, but as far as Pizza ,subs and wings go I have to put my personal vote in for a local favorite in my neighborhood, Metro Pizza.
This little establishment on Clinton st., bordering kaisertowne, is literally a hole in the wall. You could probably drive by it a million times and never think twice about stopping in.
This pizza has a thick soft crust which they cook perfectly. The wings are in fact  authentic buffalo wings. If you have a visitor coming from out of town and they have never had an authentic buffalo wing, I would take them here. If you do not like soggy buffalo wings loaded in sauce and prefer them crispy ask for them Fried Hard. ;)
A few drawbacks of Metro Pizza... Call before you order. There are no tables inside and  there is very limited parking outside. On a normal day you can pick up your food in about 20-25 minutes varying on weekends and game days.
As far as the service the employees wear gloves when handling all food, and their hair is pulled back out of their face. Unless they are busy, usually the employees are very friendly.

There have been issues with people returning food because the employees do not take the time to listen to the order, so be sure to ask for them to repeat the order back to you.

Metro Pizza - Steak Pizza
Customer Favorite- 7/10 people when surveyed about their favorite menu Item all said the steak pizza was the best.
